Pink spent the first night of Hanukkah 2023 creating cozy memories with her kids and husband.
Letting her Instagram followers in on her family’s peaceful holiday evening, the award-winning musician shared a photo of their menorah, followed by a video of her singing prayers with her daughter Willow as the 12-year-old lit the candles.
After the mother-daughter duo finished singing together, they shared a tight hug. In the background, Pink’s son Jameson, 6, sweetly said, “Happy Hanukkah, mom.” The “TRUSTFALL” singer’s husband, Cary Hart, panned the camera to their son sitting at their dining room table, and Pink is heard in the background saying “I love you.”
“Happy Chanukah to all those who celebrate,” the mom of two captioned the post. “May there be light in darkness always. May there be peace in our hearts, our homes, and in the world.”
In November 2022, Pink shared a few of her family’s favorite Jewish traditions to partake in during the holidays. While hosting an Instagram Live, the “What About Us” crooner said, “For those of you just tuning in, I am Pink, and I am making kugel, which is a Jewish noodle dish. I thought it was a very appropriate time to be making a Jewish dish.”
Explaining her favorite meal and accompanying activities, Pink shared, “You do kugel, and then you can do some Challah bread — which is really fun for the kids to braid the bread; the six braid is really good — and then we do potato pancakes and then we read the book The Latke Who Couldn’t Stop Screaming by Lemony Snicket, which is our favorite book and a very fun tradition for us.”
